YCCE Nagpur - MHT CET Result (Out), Admission, Fees

YCCE courses include undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of engineering. The courses offered by the institute are B. Tech, M.Tech, PhD. etc. The streams in which these YCCE Nagpur courses are offered are engineering, computer application and IT. The YCCE course list includes 25+ courses. YCCE Nagpur offers various engineering branches: Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology etc. 

YCCE Course Fees 

YCCE admission process for BTech will begin soon when the MHT CET counselling for 2024 starts. For now, students must score well in the MHT CET 2024 exam for the PCM group wish is ongoing and will end on May 17, 2024. MHT CET 2024 result is expected to be out in the second week of June 2024. MHT CET 2024 counselling will be conducted from June to August 2024 (expected).

YCCE Admission Dates 2024 - MHT CET

For YCCE admission through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) seats as well as Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Seats, registration by the candidate for CAP is mandatory/compulsory.

Following online registration, candidates must adhere to the instructions provided by the competent authority for document verification and registration form scrutiny at the facilitation centre or e-Scrutiny centre. Only those candidates whose applications have been approved by the facilitation centre or e-Scrutiny centre will be included in the competent authority's merit list.

A) CAP Round Admission

According to instructions posted on the SCET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, website (https://cetcell.mahacet.org), 80% of admissions are made through CAP rounds.

B) Institute Level Quota Admission 

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, conducts MHT-CET 2023, and the candidate's percentile score in that test, or the candidate's percentile score in JEE (Main) 2023, will be used to determine the Institute level merit list (PCML / FCML) for the Candidates (As per the guidelines published by SCET Cell, Government of Maharashtra).

YCCE Application Process

YCCEE application form can be downloaded from the website and submitted online or via cash or demand draft with an application fee of Rs 1000 in favour of the institute. Candidates can apply for Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering through the following steps:

• For admission against both CAP and ILA seats, all eligible candidates should register at DTE website compulsory 
• After online registration, candidates should take a printout of the application form and appear for confirmation of the application form and document verification by visiting any one of the designated Facilitation Centers (FC).
• Candidates are required to pay registration fees through online mode
• Admissions at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering are made on the basis of scores and rank obtained in MHT CET or JEE MAINS 2023.
• Registration by a candidate for CAP is mandatory for admission to the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and Institute Level Quota (ILQ) seats.

YCCE cutoff for UG engineering course is released by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. This year’s cutoffs will be announced during the MHT CET counselling process which is expected to be conducted between June and August 2024. YCCE cut off are released in the form of opening and closing ranks for multiple categories. YCCE cutoff 2024 will have multiple categories like EWS, Open, SC, ST, etc.

• YCCE became one of the few selected well  performing colleges for Government of India's Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP Phase 1) funded by the World Bank. With the TEQIP financial aid, the institute has created state of the-art infrastructure, laboratories, computational facility, library etc.
• YCCE has become the first private engineering college to acquire Autonomous Status in Central India. The institute is implementing autonomy in progressive manner from academic session 2010-11. The students admitted to B.E. and M.Tech. Courses from academic session 2010-11 are under autonomy.
• Most of the eligible UG and PG courses are accredited by National Board of Accreditation.
• All the departments in the college are recognized by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University as a Centre for Higher Learning and Research for Ph. D and M. E. by research. About 171 scholars have already registered for the research programme.
