YCCE BTech course admission requires students to score well in the MHT CET exam. For 2024, the MHT CET exam for the PCM group is ongoing and the exam dates are May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17. MHT CET result 2024 is expected to be released in the second week of June 2024. For admission to BTech at YCCE students must participate in the MHT CET counselling process which is expected to be held between June and August 2024.

For YCCE admission through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) seats as well as Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Seats, registration by the candidate for CAP is mandatory/compulsory.
Following online registration, candidates must adhere to the instructions provided by the competent authority for document verification and registration form scrutiny at the facilitation centre or e-Scrutiny centre. Only those candidates whose applications have been approved by the facilitation centre or e-Scrutiny centre will be included in the competent authority's merit list.
A) CAP Round Admission

B) Institute Level Quota Admission
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, conducts MHT-CET 2023, and the candidate's percentile score in that test, or the candidate's percentile score in JEE (Main) 2023, will be used to determine the Institute level merit list (PCML / FCML) for the Candidates (As per the guidelines published by SCET Cell, Government of Maharashtra).
